FAQs: How can we work together?
Frequently asked questions about working with recruitment companies.
Ian Martin is a recruitment firm.
We are hired by companies to find them people with the right talent and skills for their projects.
For contract roles, we also act as the employer of record, which means that we pay the independent consultant / contract employee and handle the contract and employment details during their assignment with that company.
Unlike Employment Agencies, we don’t match you with multiple job opportunities. Instead, we draw from our network and database of candidates to fill the needs of the companies we work for.
No. There’s no fee to submit your resume or apply for jobs; we’re hired by companies to find them talent.
There are two ways to apply:
- See our current job opportunities here. Submit your resume to jobs you’re qualified for and interested in.
- If you don’t see any current jobs that interest you but want to be considered for future roles that you’re qualified for, submit your resume directly to our candidate database here and our recruiters will reach out to you if there are roles that align with your skills and experience.
We receive hundreds of applications for jobs every day; unfortunately we can’t connect personally with every applicant.
If your skills and experience align with one of our current job opportunities, the recruiter working with that client will connect with you by phone or email.
Unfortunately, we can’t work with candidates who aren’t already eligible to work in Canada or the United States, nor can we help with work visas or sponsorships.
