Well, you are in luck, because we are looking to hire 3 Project Engineers that would play a pivotal role in project development by being the main interface between Engineering and clients around the world
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Prepare Engineering Estimates and Development Plans;
- Lead engineering project teams in order to respect the budget, schedule, and ensure quality deliveries;
- Execute the engineering development plan, which includes identifying and anticipating problems that could hinder or adversely limit the project’s objectives;
- Work with other departments such as Program Management, Certification, Safety & Reliability, Quality, and Manufacturing;
- Maintain the engineering work standards and processes;
- Evaluation of technical risk, mitigation, and contingency;
- Produce and present progress reports for management review;
- Maintain technical expertise;
- Support continuous product improvement and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering or Computer Science;
- A minimum of 7 years experience in hardware or software design in the field of avionics or military products using development process and designing to quality standards (such as RTCA/DO-254, DO-160, DO-178C, MIL-STD-810 or MIL-STD-461);
- Project management experience in the field of avionics or military products (preferred)
- Demonstrated success in the execution and leadership of complex projects requiring cost and schedule performance management and risk management;
- Demonstrated understanding of requirements management for the development of hardware and/or software systems;
- Knowledge of the relevant functional TSO compliances
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated toolsets an advantage.
- Knowledge of the relevant functional TSO compliances
- Working knowledge of FAA TSO, FARs, AC and STC regulations and procedures is an advantage
- Certification FAR PART 23/25 related experience an advantage
