Line Operator

- Day Shift (2 positions) – (7:00am-3:15pm)
- Night Shift (5 positions) – (11:00pm-7:15am)

Ian Martin Workforce is working alongside a 40-year-old Canadian-owned organization that focuses on formulating and manufacturing customized personal care amenities for major hotels, spas, retailers, hospitality firms, cruise liners, etc. worldwide.
As a Line Operator, you will be responsible for Handloading products onto the conveyor while checking for damaged bottles and ensuring you keep the liquids at the fill line all while maintaining other production responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Check bottles in the hopper to ensure the proper bottle is issued
- Hand load onto the conveyor
- Check for damaged bottles and bad print
- Monitor filler and tanks; fill the tank when required
- Responsible to keep the area clean
- Must follow all SOPs and cGMPs
- When an operator is required, he/she is responsible to maintain the fill level and the speed of the
- line
- Adjust fill levels as needed to keep the line running
- Responsible to help loader if needed
- Responsible to inform line leader or line service for tote change
- Must know all functions of the control panel
- Communicate problems to the mechanic when called to the line
- Operate line in accordance with all company Health & Safety rules
- Train and qualify to help Line Leader and mechanic with changeovers
- Responsible for capping all bottles on the conveyor from filler
- Must tighten all loose caps
- Ensure that no low fills go to the packing table
Qualifications and Experience:
- Secondary High School diploma
- Able to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Flexible as there may be overtime required
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Able to work in a multi-cultural atmosphere
- Able to work in a group setting
