Ian Martin Workforce is working alongside an organization that focuses on vehicle upfitting serving commercial fleet transport across Ontario
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries, identify customer needs and maintain relationships. You will report to the Sales Manager and work on developing leads, cold calling, presentations, attending networking events, etc. and facilitate business growth across Southern Ontario with enthusiasm and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer inquiries, identify customer needs/requirements, and determine best course of action to meet them
- Develop leads and maintain a strong network through various methods including cold calling, presentations, attending networking events, etc.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to estimate prices, contract terms, and delivery dates
- Creating quotes and orders, contacting customers, landing orders, maintaining relationships
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure products are produced in accordance with customer requests and contracts
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop goals and to monitor and track KPIs to deliver on projected results
- Aid and guidance to all customers by demonstrating an understanding of their business needs and using knowledge and experience within the industry
- Track and record the activity and ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s database
- Be tuned in to the latest industry and consumer trends
- Identify and develop new relationships to grow the business and help the company expand while maintaining existing relationships
- Consult with clients after the sale or signed contracts to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions
- Coach, mentor, and train other team members for effective prospecting, lead quantity/quality, and follow up
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 – 4 years sales experience required
- Successful completion of Business or Sales or Marketing diploma or program or equivalent a MUST
- Experience in vehicle outfitting industry and/or fleet/vehicle leasing industry is an asset
- Passionate about sales, comfortable in cold-calling, and being able to prospect clients
- Experience activating sales leads and efficiently manage a pipeline of leads
- Passionate about providing a great customer experience
- Able to effectively manage multiple customer deals, issues, etc.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Focused and goal-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with an aptitude to learn other relevant applications and technical/office equipment
- Proactive and ability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty with ease
