Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with a contracting company in the mining industry, specializing in large-scale mining. They are seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Electrician to join their team that primarily supports Suncor and Syncrude sites. Travel provided to site from a local Fort McMurry residence.
What you will be doing…
- Provide technical diagnosis and perform maintenance on various makes of the electrical system, mainly 930 Electric Haul Trucks;
- Ensure work is completed safely and an FLRA is completed at the beginning of every job or when a job changes;
- Perform electrical repairs according to standards, procedures and practices set out by industry and employer;
- Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met;
- Other duties as assigned.
Why this is for you…
- Journeyman Electrician certification;
- A minimum of 1-year experience in troubleshooting, repairing electrical systems & controls on 930 Electric Haul Trucks.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license;
- Must have CSO
- Proven safety training and exceptional safety record;
